What do you mean by TWO more? 40-2=38! (there are 40 now who have voted for option 1, like I did)

Errmm.. When I said that, three people had voted for #2. That was two more than the one person that was alone with his (bad) opinion.

In my sample of friends:
  • Option #2 is followed mainly by females
  • Females are not consistent but they tend to follow option #2 slightly more
  • Among the people who "don't know" which option they follow (or don't care), females are predominant by far
I've always wondered about this and I'm very unhappy that no thorough study has been made on the subject so far (or else it would have surely won an IgNobel prize).

Other very important studies should be made about toilet paper, and maybe someone would like to start new polls here:
  • How many sheets per serve?
  • How many serves?
  • How many folds before application? (one of the options must be "paper crunched into a ball")
  • Which direction(s) does your hand move (while rubbing off)?
  • Seated on the toilet or squatting off it?
Things like these make me seriously doubt about intelligent design...

But some toilet papers have three layers while some other ones have only one! 3*3=9, while 3*1 is only 3. There's an important difference! This sure is not a thing to joke about!

Using Asian style squat toilets you don't need paper at all!

Imagine the preservation of the forests! The only question remains ...which hand do you use?
Deliberately affecting the note circulation just because of EBT is like cheating in solitaire.
Seteleiden liikuttelu vain EBT:n takia on vähän kuin huijaisi pasianssissa.

Looks just like the Lithuanian/French/Italian/Russian toilets.. Of course not all of the toilets in those countries look like that, but many really do. And in Lithuania and Russia it's so hard praying for the third piece of paper that you easily end up just using your hands for wiping..
I'll probably never learn to understand the profession of Toilet Grandmas, the most sadistic people on the planet.
Do those exist in Slovenia, BTW?

Italian bathroom normally looks like this:

It's called "bidet" and it's a French contraption, so it's really common in France. It's also common in Portugal and, at least up to a few years ago, the law stated that any house should have at least one complet bathroom, including bidet. In Portugal and Spain, as well as in Sweden, it's called "bidé".

Anyway, bidets are also common in 4-star hotels round the world.

you are somehow off-topic ; please remember to focus on the toiletpaper.

By the way, there was a song in French about "Bidets" : "Oh, qu'il est laid, le bidet, Oh qu'il est beau, le lavabo"

It's too stupid to be translated...

I wouldn't say bidets are off-topic in relation to toilet paper. Maybe side-topic.

Bidés are quite a normal part of Slovenian bathroom equipment - and normally they don't have separate pipes for hot and cold water :)
