Turkish Parliament rejects Placement of US troops

Post by Phaedrus42 »

Serves GW right! All that unilateral "we'll attack, if we have UN support or not", and at the same time bribing and blackmailing Security Council member states, had to backfire sometime.

And of course the Pentagon says that this is not a real problem, and they've got plenty of other opportunities. :?

I feel a song coming up here (yes, writing right now actually):

U2's "with or without you" with as little changes as humanely possible.

Saddam, to a determined Bush he sees on tv:
See the stone set in your eye
See the thorn twist in your side
I wait for you
Sleight of hand and twist of fate
On a bed of nails you make me wait
And I'm waiting for you

Kurds and other oppressed showing their despair:
With or without you
With or without you

Rumsfeld and Bush arriving in a Turkish port:

Through the storm we reach the shore
You give it all but I want more
And I'm counting on you

With or without you
With or without you
We'll attack
With or without you

Tony Blair:
My hands are tied
My body bruised, you've got me with
Nothing to win
And nothing left to lose

All together:
With or without you
With or without you
We can't live
With or without you

(ends in some "aah"'s which reach higher and higher untill even Tony's voice fails. But to everyone's suprise, Saddam sings easily higher than 150 kHz.)
They create a desolation and call it peace.

How can you know? Do you hear? What kind of equipment do you use? Most CD players do not reach over 30 kHz.
