A new USA map, created by how dollar bills move

Post by dserrano5 » Thu Mar 28, 2013 10:51 pm

Well this post isn't related to Europe in any way, so I'm afraid it's relegated to the off topic section…

This article has some fancy images generated from Where's George data. Wouldn't it be fancy to have something like that in EBT? :).

Trivia: the top WG user has entered 2 million notes and has a hit ratio of 1:4 8O.

That could be interesting as a project to somebody's PhD thesis.
Taking into account all the sampling bias of course.

On another note, no pun intended, have you ever thought that even with all the commerce and tourism between our two countries, Portugal<->Spain hits are not that frequent?
V :flag-es: notes are not that common in :flag-pt: either, and you are just next door.
I realise pooling plays a big role here, but even so...
We might well end up with a thick blue line along the Spanish-Portuguese border, and that to me is very intriguing.

^It comes down to the fact that Spain has a relatively low number of users, unfortunately. Still, sixth place in Portugal's hit partners list is a bit low.
