Plastic coins

Here are the first plastic circulating coins in the world, those from Transnistria (secessionist region of Moldova, de facto Russian protectorate). As you can see they have a kind of serial number: these are the "AA series".

So interesting :D Though I think soon or early many more countries will turn their metal to plastic, it's only a matter of time :wink:

I got 3 ruple coin in August in Transnistria, I saved it as a souvenir...
