Here's the new picture. Taken 5 days after the first. The birds ar now 6 or 7 day old.
They may look a little unfriendly. This is probably because I forgot to bring any worms.

I have a female blackbird on my balcony who does exactly the same: looking for food at 20 cm from my feet
... it's realy amazing to observe them this way

Tordos and Melros both belong to the
turdus group. For example, the scientific name of "Melro-Preto" is
Turdus Merula .
This is a
turdus torquatus (Melro-de-peito-branco):
This is a female

Your "Tordo" is probably the closest relative to the thrush in my garden.
This is what the adult bird looks like

That look a bit like a Tordo-músico (
turdus philomelos ), which is very common, especially in your area:

That's the bird ! Tordo-musico/turdus philomenos/song-thrush/zanglijster (the last one is the official Dutch name). But because it's the most common species here with thrush/lijster in its name, it's usually reffered to only as thrush/lijster.

New life again in my garden.
It's already the second lay of the sparrows. They built the new nest on top of the old one and because I forgot to clean the box last year (also two nests), the youngsters are now able to take a look outside before they're full-grown.
