too many dots ? ;)

(Win7,FF 3.1.16)
I suggest using a less ancient browser. FF4 can handle your dotmap animation just fine ;-)
it was 3.6.16 ;)

Oooh, can you make this for the global dotmap too? Please? Please?

It would be nice... but as there are piles of dots, the computer may shut down (ie: loading for ages :!: ) don't you think so?

I guess I could, but it would require some technical improvements. Good idea though!

I'm currently working on something else, so maybe in 3-4 features...

Global note and hit maps are now filterable by country and timeframe. Also the default view is now on today's notes and hits.

Can you make EBT auto censor serial numbers in the comment field? There has been a lot of that bs lately.

If there is a "auto censor" for normal serial numbers, than a faker can write the serial number with blanks or dots or any other character between. Or he writes the number in words or backwards or or or...

Such a censor algorithm sounds nice at start, but with each exception it get more and more complicated over time. So its better to ignore this user and clean then the whole mess ...

Hmmm, are SN in comment fields really a problem? I need to choose projects carefully, my free time I can spare for EBT development is very limited these days.

It's not a big problem. I'm just throwing out ideas.

The recent fakers gigio, humu and nokian73 are using this method for enhancing the number of fake triple or quadruple on the site.

Fakers are only of limited interest.

Just a quick question about fakers, assuming that other people have shown humu's, gigio's and nokian73's behaviour in the past: How much does it take them to get tired of this faking game?
