Hi,

I used the tool and found 9 unknown combinations, 9 typing errors at the printer codes. Is there a way to find the right Shortcodes?

That would depend on the combination. For some such as K/T and L/U it is relatively easy whilst for others such as R/X almost impossible.

I can help with K/T notes if you send me a PM giving the first 5 digits of the serial number.

With L/U notes I would need the denomination and the first 4 digits of the serial number.

For E/P :note-5: I would need the first 2 and the 5th and 6th digits.

Unfortunately I cannot help with other combinations

I don't know if it will help your efforts, but I can give whoever is making these tools my note data in CSV format, so you can perhaps get more information about shortcode/serial combinations from that. I don't think I've made any short code or serial errors at any time in my EBT history.

It is not a good idea to share your note data with a third party as this could give rise to fake hits for which you would bear responsibility.

EDIT: 2 hours later all wrong notes have been changed :)

Hello all,

thanks for help. But I do not need any CSV files from users.
I tested it already with tauchers CSV file (taucher lives about 15 km away from me).
Tomorrow I want to visit him again and do some checks with the htmlebtnotescheck tool.

As I don't like to run executables, I made an excel table to check bills before copying them into the entry form.
The first column accepts data the same as expert form entry on EBT.
Before copy/pasting to EBT paste it into this form and check for valid combinations.

Uncompressed the file and tried to open it in Excel 2010. Got the message:
"Excel found unreadable content in 'Euro.xlsx'. Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook? If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes."

Why should this happen?

Hi there,
I used this tool once and found some errors I'm now trying to correct.
I'd like to use it more often, but I understand it's Windows only...
Is it possible to make a Mac (or maybe Java) version?

Hi, the source code is included. If you have some things like a C compiler installed, you can build it yourself.

I see, I should upload the most current version :)

I just uploaded the version 0.037.

I don't have a MAC, so I can't build a MAC program. Is here someone in the forum who can do this?

Wow, your program is really fast. 8O

But there is a difference between the results of ebtnotescheck.exe and htmlebtnotescheck.exe. The second program don't recognize the :note-50: R/H combination.

Hi Ergo,
thx for the report.

Typing error in the code :(

it was:
if((puffer[t] == 'R') && (puffer[sn] == 'G') && (n==50)) { f=1; if(

correct is:
if((puffer[t] == 'R') && (puffer[sn] == 'H') && (n==50)) { f=1; if(

I uploaded a fixed version.
