HUH! I was totally "converted" to Euro-thinking allmost at the end of 2002, but... I still think in "pesetas" when think about BIG buys (such a car, a house, a flat...).

Perhaps in Slovenia they do...

Oh no, we do not think in Euros. As soon as the amount is bigger than 10 Euros, our minds convert to our Tolars which do not exist anymore :cry:

True. And the same applies to pretty much any other year, too.
It's funny how people have suddenly started noticing that inflation exists. I learned that myself around 1999, when I noticed that every year the mothly donald duck comic book was more and more expensive.

It is an interesting thing, indeed. But it happens, no matter what currency you convert the prices to.

Only small amounts I sometimes check in BEF, because I have a reference in BEF for them. I never had to think of big things in BEF, in my young years 100 BEF seemed a lot already... So in my search for an appartment, I don't have to convert to BEF anymore.
