Living in the UK as I do, my options to get euro coins for my collection is limited, so I tend to buy bulk lots of leftover change from eBay, sort through then and then roll/bag up those I don't need to take with me when I next visit the eurozone. Back in 2015 I visited Barcelona and took about €200 in coins with me, mostly 10c, 20c and 50c. I stopped at a cafe for a coffee one day and paid with 20c coins, waiter didn't say anything either way, just took them. After about 20 minutes, I decided to have another coffee before heading for the bus and again paid with 20c coins (the other half of the roll I'd used earlier) and this time the waiter was over the moon because he'd run out of change. I produced the €50 I still had in coin from my bag and he took the lot and gave me a nice €50 note. Alas, it wasn't a hit, nor were any of the other notes I received or spent whilst there.

Dear fellow trackers, one more week to go and it is CHRISTMAS time!!!! :D :D

Please remember to do good things: Save your fivers (and bills of ten) and pay and / or exchange them in restaurants. Owners and staff may find it difficult to get hold of smaller bills during the two or three days, and we Eurobilltrackers are most certainly ready to help....

So, save your smaller denominations for Christmas.

Wish you all a nice and happy Christmas and some nice days with your most beloved ones!

Greetings from Frankfurt-upon-Main

The 25th will be a Monday, so no banks for at least three consecutive days. :)
