I got the 6th Estonian bill entered on EBT.

They are currently delivered in the ATM's of the Bank "Crédit lyonnais - LCL".

The letter D looks rather small in front of the figures... :mrgreen:

Congratulations!
It does keep us busy, doesn't it......
The search just keeps on going...... ;)
Keeps our 'stupid' hobby interesting though, don't you think?

obviously it is the same D as on the SD and UD Europa fivers. So the Estonian notes are a few days late to show us how the D looks.
Now we know 19 letters of the alphabet
A B C D E F G H J K L M N P R S T U V W X Y Z

J, R and W could come with later Europa issues

... actually, I do already know some other letters :) (the W looks a bit strange!)

The typeface of serial numbers certainly looks totally like OCR-B, at least to my not-much-trained eye. Does anyone have any official or specialist confirmation? The only serious thing I find on the Web is a document by the Unicode Consortium stating, in 2000, that "[a]nother application where the OCR-B [would] probably become used [was] for serial numbering of Euro banknotes."

Today I entered our first estonian D-note in Linz / Upper Austria, a 20-Euro-bill printed by Bundesdruckerei (R028**) for Estonia (D****) - http://de.eurobilltracker.com/notes/?id=130910780" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I haven't got any Estonian notes yet. I supposed that they will be common in Finland, because Finland is located near of Estonia, but it looks like that most of Estonian notes are in circulation in other parts of Europe.

In the beginning, it was visible, that they were given out in France, but if that's still the case... :roll: . I entered only 5, so not very much at all. I found most of them in the Rhine-Main-Area (4) but also one in the town in which my grandparents live.
Anyway, the times in which you could receive a note and know that it was given out in the country it was printed for, are over since a lot of years. Otherwise, I wouldn't have received so many :note-10: N/Y, or :note-10: U/M for instance. Portugal and Greece may be countries where people spend their holidays, but I doubt that they bring lots of notes, some even with consecutive numbers, back home.
So, a note printed for Estonia does not mean that it was given out in Estonia. It's the same with :note-20: R/G and R/F, as the majority of them is entered in Spain and Southern France, so not Cyprus nor Malta.
Here is always a good place, to see whether a note is rare in your country or not (at least for a general overview).

Quite surprised to hear they're not at all common in Finland! :o
