Hi, I have noticed a recent update in the app: now a square appears in the screen of the camera, making it easier to catch the serial number. However, once it's transfered to the form, the "send" icon keeps inactive and it's not possible to upload the data. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app but it keeps the same.
Has this happened to anyone else, or is it only my phone? Thank you.

It´s all fine on my phone.
I only have to take care for J letters in the printer code and it takes longer for the :note-20: printer codes. Slight movement of the camera may help.

Working fine on my OnePlus 7T too. After the new update, it doesn't do any misreadings any more (even J letters on the printer code are read correctly 100% of the time).

It still crashes from time to time, in a more annoying way in fact now, but I will report it through private message, together with a couple minor inconveniences.

Hi, I just noticed that, when changing comment between two notes entered, the app saves the comment of the previous note (and not the one of the right note).
I have verified this several times, even after days.
My smartphone is a Samsung Galaxy S10e.

I've been proudly using the latest Beta versions, and I must say that the last one is very close to perfect.

Here's a request for future implementation, if you like it:
Sometimes, by mistake, I click on the button that deletes the list of entries (below the comment line and above the list of notes registered so far). So I would be grateful if I get a confirmation popup that prevents me from accidentally delete it without a confirmation.

And this is the forum where I learn that Android has a dark theme, before that I was changing the theme in any app that was offering a dark one! :-D

Thank for these changes Peter, I just wanted to try out if my very much expected change request about comment editing was fitting my needs but I realise this is a beta version. So far I have the 1.4.3. What can I do to change to beta? (and send you more feedback ;-))

lmviterbo, I would not introduce a popup for confirming a user request, that would be too annoying for those who really request it. Maybe a small "undo" ticker banner that hides after a few seconds would suffice to help you revert the destruction.

Yes, that would do. Thanks for chipping in. :)

Here's a new suggestion:

I would love to be able to automatically upload all the pictures shot to some archive (e.g. Google Photos).

This way, whenever I run some combination check program (e.g. EBTCheck) and find an error, I would be able to visually recheck the banknote, even if I don't have it with me anymore.

A new suggestion:

Maybe it´s possible to decide loading the data of multiple notes in a local database before loading them to the EBT server.

So there is no reason to stop if you are offline and you can see and review the complete quantity of work.

Sometimes it´s frustrating to continue adding notes after some hundreds without hits. To me it´s more motivating to bridge those periods by accumulating data til i have a better chance for at least a couple of hits.

To wait and see "you have some hits" is more motivating than to see 300 times "no hit" and finally have one.
