Why are there so many Euro bills entered on leap days?
The top 3 dates in the number of bills entered are February 29th 2016, February 29th 2012 and February 29th 2008. What causes this? Is it a bug in the statistics tool? Does it count two days as one?

No, it’s not a bug. People like to enter notes on the 29th of February because it’s a rare and special date.

To add to bumboozel's answer, there is a game on the forum where people try to get a hit on each day of the year.
Since leap days only come along once every four years, people enter as many notes as possible, hoping to get a hit.

Because it is only 1 time in 4 years.
