Indeed, the first hit happened after a little more than a month, on the 11th of February to be precise:Montgomery Burns wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 1:35 pm I seem to recall reading on some sort of FAQ page that it took about a month for the first hit to pop up.

This was announced on the forum by giro = EuroBillTracker = Philippe Girolami, the creator of the original website himself. Apparently, he didn't count the very first and certainly uninteresting hit I mentioned before.
More than 9000 notes had been registered. Over 850 users had already joined. Some of them are still active.
Some of those 9000 notes would be found again later.
This answers your question. Apart from that uninteresting first hit, the real first one was this:

Distance = 474 km, interval = 1941 days
The answer is 720.
This hit was commemorated on the forum (although under a suspicion veil, which didn't hold — Inserv joined in 2007, got that amazing hit on the very day they joined, and they are still active!).
Notes 1133, 1276, 1363, and 1500 were hits too. I stopped hunting for hits at note 2000…
