Yesterday this article appeared on the most known dutch news-site.

Translated summary:
Only one in five banknotes in dutch wallets are printed in The Neterlands.

This number has decreased in the last few years constantly, as proven by research of the website eurobilltracker.eu

A year ago a quarter of all banknotes in dutch wallets were printed in our own country. Shortly after the introduction of the euro in January 2002, this percentage was 95%.

Germany

Due to international trade and travels across the borders dutch wallets mainly contain banknotes from Germany (36.4%). Also French notes found their ways to our wallets (22.1%)

You can recognise the origin of a banknote by the letter at the begin of the code on the note. For example the U comes from France, the S from Italy and the P from The Netherlands.

Eurobilltracker has 150.000 volunteers. They follow the banknotes by digitally registrating the serial numbers.

Can someone from Italy give a short summary. I listened to the fragment, but I can't understand it unfortunately. The things I understood were Malta, Belgio, Olanda, Germania and Baarle-Hertog. I'm quite curious what it is about. Also who is the EBT'er we hear?

It's ewri who gave the interview and sen-chuan who organized it.
In summary, the interviewer wanted to know at the start how it works, and then ewri spoke about some curiosities (longest hit, interesting locations to track etc.).

I have to apologize with the EBT community.

Lats week, on an Italian-on-line newspaper this article was published : http://www.megachip.info/rubriche/34-gi ... treet.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's in Italian, so I will give you a short resume. Giulietto Chiesa, the author, says that the ECB is taking away all the :note-50: N/Y for blackmailing Greece. There are many incorrect details, i.e. J = Ireland and so on...

On the Italian EBT community we wrote some private letters to Giulietto Chiesa about his mistakes. Me, I wrote a letter where I cited some EBT statistics, trying to correct; of course I signaled the fact that EBT users are not diffused homogeneously on Europoean territory, so there are some systematic mistakes.

Giulietto Chiesa used the EBT data that I gave to him for put some ridiculous against EBT. He did it in a new article http://www.megachip.info/rubriche/34-gi ... renza.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
In this article, he wrote about EBT as a kind of "bank conspiracy" , EBT users are sly business men who are hiding the correct data, focusing on Germany and Finland against other countries and a lot of stupid things like that.

I am very sorry about that, because it is me that I talk to Chiesa about EBT, also if he manipulates all the data. Inside the Italian EBT community we are discussing about what we have to do, but I hope that the name of Eurobilltracker will not be demadged by this sad manipulation.

:(

Talking to conspiracy theorists is like to speak against a wall. They don't want to understand any arguments, so better just ignore him ...
