We are starting to notice the pooling system is already active. At this topic, you can add the country and printcode from such notes.

Look for quite a number of new consecutive foreign banknotes ... esp. when "new" or "uncirculated" is written in the comment of the note.

Pooling or just traveling?

Nice topic! :D

I have seen that the amount of Spanish 20 euro banknotes is a real lot and the reason must be the pooling system I guess, since the banknotes are beeing seen all over Belgium....

But: let us not forget, that there is a possibility the banknotes travel from different countries.. 8) 8)

So: maybe some truckdriver from Spain has paid in cash for some new cars in Belgium? It could be a possibility

8) Nah, not possible, I've got brand new Spanish 20E banknotes with consecutive serial numbers from the bank. I've seen that by other EBTers too ... 8)
It MUST be the pooling system  .

Yep, 50% of my 20 eur notes are M007 now!
And almost every day I get 2 or 3 consecutive serials...

It seems that pooling system doesn't (yet) affect Finland. I haven't noticed anything like that here.

Pooling in Holland

I have the idea, that in Holland, the banks have good contacts with the German banknote printers.

If there is some kind of pooling going on between Holland and Germany, it is allmost impossible to see, since there are 20 % german banknotes in Holland allready... :)

So, maybe we are pooling but invisible :?

The Spanish M007 notes in Belgium are all 20 euro.
They really show up often ! About 25% of the 20 euro notes I see are Spanish here !

In the last two weeks I went to two different ATMs and in both places I got two bills of 20 euro which have serialnumbers close to eachother. Spanish bills...

I bet this is to bring back the money that our Belgian tourists brought to Spain. Hopefully the recent trend of new Spanish users will keep on, so that we can check this theory of mine.

 Stupid me  I've made another edit.

Sadly, serials and print codes are coded more in the new statistics so it's very hard to notice new pooling notes :( .
