Hello Joergb!

Thank you for this! I got an uncirculated 20 €-note beginning with a serial-number S07.... in Hamburg, too, from the LZB when I changed old DM-coins into Euro :roll:

I am ready to collect those informations. Maybe more user tell us about those examples.

Did you make a notice of the whole numbers? It could be necessary if we want to specify the informations. If there will be a non-public topic at the forum, it is allowed to post the whole numbers there, because not every user is able to read those informations. But until then, it's okay to post only the first letter/numbers!

@ the moderators: Is it possible to build and to handle a new topic like "cracking the code" in former times? It would be a very fine thing... :)

I recommend you send a private message to Craco about this issue.

These are very interesting informations, thank you all. During the next time I will send Craco a mail to ask him, if it's possible to create a new topic, so Gauss recommended. I noticed the informations you've posted until now and I hope that we'll get informations from other countries, too :)

Yesterday I got brand new €10/P002/X146... notes. The numbers were
nearly consecutive!

Hello mirandolina!

Thank you very much :)
But now it's important for us to know the serial-number(s) und the printer-code, too! Would you please tell us those dates? For the serial-number please post the first four digits only, thank's!

I forgot to say, the printer code for both notes is M011F2

I also meant the "hole in the wall" (family slang!), not "lin" the wall... !!

Thank you for posting the printer-code. But the links of your registration don't help... :? We need the first three digits of the serial-number. I beg you to do the following (if you don't know the complete serial-number by now):

1. Log in at the EBT-main-site;
2. Let you show your own bills, you've registered (then the complete serial-numbers will be shown);
3. Please post the four first digits here in the forum.

By the way, I've noticed your typing-error. It was clear fo me, you mean an ATM. But your family-slang is very funny :lol:

Spanish notes in Italy

OK, here are the first 4 digits:
V1390

There was a saying at home "Do you think I get money out of a hole in the wall?". Then ATMs appeared on the scene, so what else could we call them....?!

But the Serial number are just 9 away from each other. Very new looking notes.
