The markings of "unreaded posts" stay, if you log out. (I´m at a cyber-café this month, so I don´t have the time to read all the posts)

So the next time you´re on-line, you can continue with where you left off.

The last version, they would all marked as "readed" (so, even if you didn´t :? ).

yes the unread feature is iffy. It was better as it used to be... (that is: all unread after your last visit)

I like this, too !

Before, when I was coming back from a holiday, I would not dare to open the forum if I would not be sure to have 1 hour in front of me for reading all posts I was interested to...

Good feature !

I'm not sure, if this is a problem of the forum, or because I'm in Slovenia now.

But after reading a few posts I'm automatically logged out.

Do you know if (and how) this can be fixed?

No, they're available in the stock phpBBv3 package without any modifications.

With the recent changes on the forum, the links of this type
http://forum.eurobilltracker.eu/viewtop ... 754#462754
doesn't work (we go to the first post of the page and not to the post we want to point). This type of links only work if we add a "p" character after the "#" character:
http://forum.eurobilltracker.eu/viewtop ... 54#p462754
I see you have talked about this, and I think this is a permanent chance. Will the links be corrected automatically? My question is because we have to change lots of them in the portuguese forum, to allow some rankings and other important stuff to work. I've changed some of the most important ones, but it gives some work, because I must go from post to post. Do you have plans to perform the automatic correction in the next days/weeks?... Or when?.. If you know, of course...

Re-voting

I try to activate the re-voting feature on some polls on the portuguese forum.
It works for me (moderator) but not for other users. Is this normal? :?:

if I write some words and click on one word, that word together with the space between it and the next word is marked blue. If I click then on the URL button and insert a url, the code will be
tra [url=http://www.tralala.de]la [/url]la, with a space before the closing url tag
this has never made any problem until now but now, when I hit submit, the space is removed by the forum, making it look like this:
tra lala

Code: Select all

and hit preview, you see the correct flag in the previewed message, but the text box already contains the altered code that does not work. So you have to hit submit without previewing

did I mention that the code also does not work now at old messages that have been displayed correctly until the system change?

We're now running the latest version of phpBB. Some previously unavailable languages (ca, sv, sk, sl) have now been added. The links in new messages will now open to a new window, but funnily though this change doesn't affect old posts. Oh, and the forum address has changed back to forum.eurobilltracker.com. There are redirects in place, so old links to http://www.eurobilltrackerforum.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; will still work.

Normally, when you click on a link in the forum, there's a new window opened (I like it this way :D ).

But when I use my laptop, it works both ways:
  • opening a new window with the new webpage (that's fine);
  • but also changing the previous window into the new webpage.
This last one isn't fine, because than I have to use the "Back-" button to return to the previous page. But if the previous page was a topic with "unread", it doesn't go back to the same page, but to the "first unread page".

Is it easy/possible to change this, so it works like on a "normal" computer?

(Operating System on my laptop is Windows-Vista, on my others it's Windows-XP)

What about a right-click on a link and then selecting 'Open in new Window' or 'Open in new Tab'? Should work - at least with Firefox...
