I think Latvia would be the most important of this list, because it'll change to Euro at 1st January 2014.romanm wrote:I suggest that you also add the flags of the following EU countries:They are quite visited and mentioned on this forum, although they don't have euro as their currency themselves (yet?).

But I think Poland will be more urgent as the others because it has (like Great-Brittain) an Euro-note printer within its border.

Re: Country flags as emoticons
Please, could anyone be so kind to create an emoticon for San Marino and Switzerland to be used on this forum and the EBT website.
Thanks a lot in advance!

Re: Country flags as emoticons
Would it be possible to add symbols as forum emoticons to help us manage lists, games and rankings? It's usually quite useful to add those small symbols as they improve message readibility. Of course it's currently possible to insert links to pictures outside the forum but it creates lots of
- plus / minus :
- small arrows : (not all of them but let's say in 8 directions for instance)
- "new" logo :
I have linked pictures found here and there on different websites but I'm willing to design specific icons to avoid copyright problems if needed.

Something like this for instance:
Any opinion? Missing symbols?

Switzerland flag
We can use :flag–ch: for the Switzerland flag in the EuroBillTracker site, but not in the forum. In the forum we must use the [img] tag. Why not put also the Switzerland flag in the forum, in the form :flag–ch:, if even the Turkey flag works this way in the forum?

Re: Country flags as emoticons
phpBB v3.2 (which we're running now) supports emojis. There are quite a few emojis available, ranging from checkmarks to pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows . Various flags are also available as emojis. https://emojipedia.org/ may help in finding stuff.
Note that emojis may look different when viewed on a different browser or a different device. See the Unicorn Face page for examples of the different ways how emojis are depicted.

Re: Country flags as emoticons
This is . I was actually wondering what new features we users should expect to notice, apart from the slightly different and more salient icons. (And now I'm noticing annoying autocorrect to Portuguese; must find out how to turn this off. )
Why various Finnish flags though?avij wrote:Various flags are also available as emojis.
