Forum's user classifications (ranks)

Post by Nivram »

Hi everyone !

We had a complaint in the German forum by someone who disliked being designated a "Euro-Newbie" (by the forum software).

So i thought about doing a brainstorming for new (funnier) classifications. Let's do it !
(Or would the englisch forum be a better place, as more users read it ?)

1. rank: billy the kid
2. rank: parkbanknote
3. rank: ...
...
last rank: Kill Bill !

(how many are there by the way ? edit: i found out, that the number is "admin-defined".)

who cares? well, obviously the German user who complained, but I for one couldn't care less. IMHO the admin might even remove the number of posts next to one's name, it's really a useless statistic as far as I'm concerned

I think you can add a lot more fun to the environment of the forum with funnier classifications. The climate is an important aspect in a forum.

And you encourage users to post. (Not a good idea for all user, i know  but a forum is its posts ! )
