I think not only proof. The sets you can buy from post offices here are BU (best unused) I think. 1 c and 2 c coins are included.eurobillsandcoins wrote:Rahapaja Oy (Mint of Finland) did produce 1 and 2 ct pieces for 2003 but only in those sets of UNC coins. And of course for proof.
For proof coins they have special punches which are polished so that the coins look very shiny when they come out from the mint.
There is Finnish 1 and 2 cent coins in sets, proof and BU.
And... some time ago Mint of Finland offered limited quanity of 1 and 2 cent coin rolls to buy... but, like in year 2002, those was sold out in 2-3 days.
My opinion is that Finnish could be also start using 1 and 2 cents, but when i think another hand, no. That would be best, if they will not even mint those stupid little coins at all.

Ha! You're just jealous because you don't have a king of your own!
(By the way, the king in question has reigned for 10 years and during the upcoming weekend there are all kinds of festivities around Brussels and Belgium. During the past week they've been practising an aerial parade - several helicopters and different kinds of planes flying at various speeds and heights over the city centre.)

Nor do we. We have a president which is also known as "lamp head" because of his head format (and also known as "little carrot" for the hair colour). He's a nice guy but would be horrible in coins! I think that, in general, it's a bad idea to have a monarch face in a coin... A monarch or anyone else... Or almost anyone... Ok, I wouldn't mind if German coins had Claudia Schiffer drawn on them!Annie_in_exile wrote:Ha! You're just jealous because you don't have a king of your own!
