This seems like the most appropriate topic for my remark.

Two years ago we saw the first E/H notes in March; E/P :note-5: printed in 2009 appeared even in December 2008.

So the question is? Where are this years (2010) printings? There should be new Italian :note-10:, German :note-200: by printer E, Slovak notes (E :note-20: ), the Maltese :note-20: that we were promised even last year, Austrian :note-500:. Where are they?

It is a bit early to expect all of these combinations to start circulating now. For example, :note-20: from Luxemburg were printed for the year 2008, but they only started to appear as late as March 2009 (I believe), so these were late-comers. And the Dutch :note-5: printed by E started appearing even before the year 2009 had started.

The H/G and F/G :note-20: may start circulating anytime soon, but it may as well take some more years before they pop up. And the same is true of the new combinations you mentioned (and yout forgot the :note-10: X/G ). The only thing we can possibly do is to wait in apathy for the new combinations to start to show up.

The L/H :note-20: can be recognised as :note-20: from Luxemburg.

Will we get F and G notes until the end of 2009?

I'm hoping that both Cyprus & Malta will put out 5 & 10 Euro notes this year or next year.I will be wanting them.

I've got the Irish 2002 5 & 10 Euros in my collection of British Commonwealth banknotes.

Has Luxembourg started issuing their own Euro notes yet?

Aidan.

I think t is quite unlikely to Malta and Cyprus issuing other than :note-20:

Just look at Slovenia

The production schedule (can be found on the ECB's website) tells us that for 2009 and 2010 Cyprus and Malta will produce :note-20:.

Luxembourg does issue its notes, only they don't use their own letter.

In this post is a list of all the notes that can be identified as ordered by Luxembourg up to 2009. I believe the 2010 Luxembourg notes will be again :note-20: again by G.
