Post by gatoulis » Thu Oct 15, 2009 6:03 pm

Hello to all!

I saw this in ebay.... what is this 5 euro note?????

Is it a kind of local currency like some cities in Germany etc are using???

A Dutch local note? It is necotiable tender, and says it is a commemorative note.....

Here you can see both sides of this strange...note!

Well, it has the flag of Friesland and its name. Besides, if you read the small text beneath: "this note is negotiable tender for the whole Friesland"

I suppose it is a particular issue. Not of importance for me, but curious.
