2004 coins

Post by !Pretfles! »

The new year is almost a month old,
has anyone found a new 2004 coin yet?
Just wondering.

Maybe I opened this post to early, because last year the first mention of a 2003 coin was on 28th february.

But I'm keeping my guards to find one, lets hope they will make some.

How is that possible? 8O Does Luxembourg still mint coins in advance?

The only reason I can find is that they have minted the 2004 coins in advance - which I really wonder - and then got run out of 2002 and 2003 coins. Then they had to start to use the 2004 coins.

Does anyone know if the Luxembourgi 2003 coins are rare?

If anybody have information about mintages of 2004 coins, go to my WWW and use feedback-form.

I'm interested about updating my mintage list, and also interested to get some 2004 coins.

In Luxembourg it's pretty hard to find coins from Luxembourg these days. It's almost all Belgian, French and German. People are still collecting the coins from this country and don't bring 'em back. Maybe the 2004-coints are a collectors item as well so the coins from LUX found in the very country might keep a number of zero like today in the stats.
