Strange 20€
I found 20€ paper with a mistaken checksum: adding all the serial's digits I get 52, 5+2=7 (meaning Italy), according with S leading the serial, but the control checksum is 6 instead of 7. Can anyone explain me that? Is it frequently found?

There are various ways to calculate the checksum, but all of them should yield the same result. I'm assuming that EBT didn't accept the serial number of the note.
The most likely explanation is that your banknote is a counterfeit note. Please check its security features carefully. Also, there are two serial numbers printed on the back of the note. Are both of them the same?
If you don't have the note any more (ie. you've written down the serial number on a piece of paper), the most likely explanation for the wrong checksum is that you've made an error while writing down the serial number.
