This morning, i 'd bought 2 "croissants" for 1.6 EUR.
I gave a 10 Eur note and the change was :
  • 2* 2 EUR French
    1* 2 EUR Greek
    1* 2 EUR Dutch
    1* 0,20 EUR Italian
    1* 0,20 EUR Belgian

LOL

But i think this is still exceptional, although it really depends on the place you are.

I was at the Keukenhof a couple of weeks ago, and indeed the majority of the coins i recieved was "foreign"

Yes this is really exceptional because it was in a little town (about 15 Kms from Paris) without touristic site!

I wish I had that many foreign coins...
Here in my hometown I ALWAYS get those stupid Belgian coins :(
Very rare there is a Dutch or French coin, but not very often.

I wish I had a bakery that returned me in greek coins like yours :)
(Greece is the only country from which I've got nothing at all :()
Tiger : Dutch, English, French, German
Little Spanish and Italian
Trying Finnish and Japanese :)

Holy cow you're rich!
Over one-and-a-half yooroos for a couple of flaky dough snots? Wouldn't give more than 0.30 per piece.
I hope they were either giant, filling was plentiful, they were gold-sprinkled or something.
But yeah, what do peasants like me from :flag-lv: know...
