Well done, vermeer!

ErGo, are these going directly to the Public Serials account?

They're not necessarily public but, for example, I think I know these two:

http://eurobilltracker.com/notes/?id=73834785

If those are what I think they are, they're to be found on the Italian police reports (I will upload them to the Database team tonight).

In my eyes they are not always public serials as they are not published by me. Notes with serial numbers must of course make the list of "abuse".

Many fake notes (but not all) share the same serial number. It's not uncommon for the police to arrest thousands of euro banknotes with the same fake serial number. In that sense, they are not exactly public (unless made public by the police themselves or the media) but they should have a particular status on EBT, since this way a hit will probably occur between two different notes.

Back to the subject of smartphone apps:

I have just found another app to detect counterfeit notes. This one is developed by De Nederlandsche Bank and endorsed by ECB (only for iOS, as far as I found out):
Genuine or Counterfeit

I am going to try it on genuine notes (and maybe some day on the only fake I know, which is kept by the owner of a café after he got cheated with it).

When I visited my bank this week, the cashier presented me some counterfeited :note-50:'s . Luckily, it has not been my own.
