Hi
I have got 2 euro coin with rotated die. It is Germany coin, the classic one. It is original (it is not fake).
Does anyone know - is it a rare coin and what can be the approximate cost of this coin.
I attach the picture for reference.
Best regards
D.

Re: 2 euro coin with rotated die
Hello Dima,
I don't know exactly the value of that coin (and probably nobody really knows it), but some 2 euro coins with rotated die have been selled for about 80 euros or even more!
Some years ago, I discoverd a Belgian 2 euro coin with 180° in my collection and I asked for the value of it on another internet forum. Somebody answered it was worth about 160 euros However, it is not that rare that Belgian coins have a rotated die because of the terrible Belgian mintage techniques.
