2018 coins

Postby negative » Fri Mar 31, 2017 9:49 am

To mark the centenary of the Baltic States, Eesti Pank, Latvijas Banka and Lietuvos bankas decided to issue a €2 commemorative coin with the same design for all three countries.

Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania have each selected the two best design proposals from their country. Now the people of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and friends of the Baltic countries around the globe are invited to choose from those six designs the one that will be minted.

You can vote for only one coin and only once.

Interesting way to start a thread "ahead" of its time. :D

I wish I had seen this thread before. I would have voted this same design, undoubtedly. It looks way more professional than any other. Furthermore, there were less than 15k votes and 100 prize winners, so a good chance I would have been lucky in that draw. :)
