I've found my first 2€ French TOR ; I have got 10 of them, in very good conditions

I'd like to swap them for the TOR I am still missing, which are : :flag-fi: :flag-pt: :flag-at: :flag-nl: :flag-lu: :flag-it: :flag-ie: :flag-es: :flag-gr: :flag-si:

Please send a PM and we will organise an exchange by mail.

Have you, dudes, noticed that some of the ToR coins have text also in Swedish?

Guess how to recognize them ;)

Yeah. The Finnish coins have the text written in Swedish on the side of the coins (in the place where the normal Dutch coins shout that there's nothing more important than religion)

What do the other ToR coins say in that place? Do they look like the normal 2€ coins in the respective countries?

Oh, and it's 6%, not 8% ;)

I've also noticed that the back of the ToR/ 2007 coins are slightly different for different countries. The map on the Irish ones is kind of, um, "bubbly" (i.e. made up of small raised dots), while for other countries it's smooth.
Any other countries have "bubbly" map?
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Pretty much every €2 coin with the new map, ToR or other, has that "bubbles" or "incused dots" look. Actually I was a little surprised when I first saw the Belgian ToR coin that looks a little smoother than the others ...

Here is an XXL size (1.5 MB) picture of the €2 common side:

"bubbles"

Post by Jes » Fri Jun 08, 2007 1:26 pm

Yes! I thougth that "bubbles" were in all the new coins (even in normal 2 Euro and 1 Euro coins).

Are there new coins without the "bubbles"?

By the way, I still miss ToR --> :flag-pt: :flag-at: :flag-it: :flag-be: :flag-fr:

I just miss the French, Greek and Slovenian, but up to now I know for sure the worst is the Italian mint... no word to describe... The signatures on the book, which can be clearly seen in the other, are inconsistent, completely smooth! And even those taken from roll are blured, even if you can still fill the sharped edge! 8O

To answer myself:
http://www.oenb.at/en/rund_ums_geld/eur ... n_2007.jsp

So, on all other coins the inscription seems to be the same as in the normal coins in those countries.

With the kind help of some of you, I have already gathered several ToR from various countries.

I am still looking for the 2€ ToR from :flag-at: ; :flag-lu: ; :flag-es: ; :flag-si: ; :flag-fi:

I can swap with Tor from :flag-fr: , :flag-it: and :flag-be: or some other commemorative coins...

Please PM me ; you'll get a rapid answer !
