Don't worry, even though only 20% of all coins in Vilnius are foreign but about half of them are Belgian. Seriously, if I find a foreign euro coin (as I said there not very common yet, it's seems like a month is not enough for them to come), it's almost all the time German or Belgian.

As for me in northern Lithuania more than half of all foreign eurocoins are from neighbour Latvia, and after it goes Spain. Probably sounds strange however German coins are not quite common as it was supposed before adopting euro. Among other countries I have seen in my portemonnaie during the first euromonth are Belgium, France, Estonia, Finland, Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Ireland.

I would say, as a foreigner, that you are very lucky I haven't seen any Lithuanian coins yet, and I would be very happily surprised if all my coins would be Lithuanian some day But yeah, I understand that they are very common in Lithuania. Guess I should travel across all the Baltic countries now, when it's possible to get notes, coins and dots to my map from all of them.

I think you should wait for the near summer season at least, there will be much more tourists in Vilnius, many Lithuanians will go abroad, so just some patience is needed

On my first day in Lietuva I have got 2 foreign coins:
2 Euro 2005 "COSTITUZIONE EUROPEA" in Kavinė near the international bus station in Marijampole (I have never seen before)
2 Cent 2006 in Maxima supermarket near the International bus station in Kaunas

Tuesday I plan to go to Vilnius to change some hundred into ones
