Every year, on that day, the Charlemagne Prize is awarded in Aachen (NW, DE) - and this year's laureate, Emmanuel Macron, will not only be in Aachen for the award ceremony but also the day before. So today, on Europe Day, he will give a speech at the RWTH (Aachen University), at about three in the afternoon. Admission is free (for anybody who has the time and opportunity to attend) but you had to pre-register.
Afterwards there will be a "Europe Live" event in downtown Aachen, with live music, food stands, etc. - and Macron will also show up there, at or around seven in the evening. Tomorrow is the official prize ceremony, and Macron's speech will be broadcast live. See this flyer in English.
