Will you vote for the european election (2004)?
I am going to vote, but I will vote "blanc". I really don't see any sense in giving my vote to any of these parties. I cannot see what they stand for, or what they want to achieve in the European Parliament. In Germany it is quite usual that politicians that have reached a dead end in their carriers or that the parties want to get rid off candidate for the European Elections as a form of early retirement.

It is obligatory to vote in Greece. In the eighties if you didn't vote, you couldn't have a passport or driving license, unless if you had an excuse or living over 200km from the place you had to vote.
Anyway, politics is very important to Greeks since ancient years,so either way we all vote!

I have to vote, but I can't.
I'm in Leuven at the university during june, because of my exams.
I have to vote at home in Kontich, but I really don't see myself wasting 2 hours going to Kontich by train, waiting in line for a few hours and going back to Leuven...
Luckily our university gives letters for voting authorisation to students who can't or don't want to go vote.
So my dad'll have to vote in my place.

And how do you know that he/she will vote what you want?
I mean that I don't vote ths same party with my parents (though our parties belong to the same wing).
