If people are afraid that the Euro will fall in value , I just wonder where they are putting their money.
Now 100 euro = 85 UK sterling ,a few years ago it was only 68 sterling.

Many countries outside the euro are in trouble also, gold in gone crazy in price,Irish bank shares
are less than 10 cent .......................

Gold and (sterling) silver bullion. Shares in certain companies may also be of interest; I'm currently following the stock of a couple of Canadian and European companies, including one from Ireland.

Same here. The only safe places to put your money is in things that authorities can't create out of thin air.

I had some savings in post office savings bonds which paid 10% tax free over 3 years.
I don`t know if I should go in again for another 3 years or start looking at shares outside euro zone.

I bought shares only once before, but the Irish banks charged too much commission.

I wonder which is the best and safest place on the internet to trade shares,with low commission also.
EDIT

Our own TV economic expert Eddie Hobbs http://www.eddiehobbs.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
also says to invest in gold and silver and property when it finally bottoms out in the next year or two, as there is massive inflation on the way.(which he blames on the USA and not the Euro)
