I still don't get it. Perhaps he's entering real notes right now, but are the fake ones deleted? I don't believe it

It is time to clean up the database. Or is my information outdated and are there yet any moderators, to keep the database clean ?

hmmmmz
I think they know eachother.
They sent notes by mail (a payment for finnish coins ? the notes went from Belgium to Finland) or it's someone who was in Finland and gave the notes there to a friend...

I think they are fake too. Looks nice, but two hits on one day, same users and that great distance... can't be real.

hit....

Post by Fons »

When I look at the usernames from this hit I think they know each other, maybe a fake it, it could be a coincedent.

The users didn't registered at the same day. But they are from the same city
Users:
LittleSpender and BigSpender

What do you think of it?
It's a Belgian €5 note.

Chances are high they know each other. But for now I don't think they should be considered as fakers.

It may be husband and wife. The wife is the big spender and the husband the little spender. And they both enter their own notes but maybe one note got from one wallet to another 'by accident'.

Anyway I think the hit should be moderated.

In the Printers statistic page, I noticed that thereare supposd to be 500 EUR bills from Portugal.
Correct me if I am wong in thinking that Portugal does not have any 500 EUR bills.
There are some more anomalies in that piece of statistic, too.

Every of the 12 Euro-countries' National Central Banks produced notes of all denominations, s. http://www.eurotracer.net/information/ based on a ECB press release of 2001-10-05, which says that there were 500.000 protuguese EUR500-notes in the initial production phase. Whether they were circulated is another question.

What about these two hits:

This one and This one .
Both are hits between the same two users.

Coincedent?
Fake?
Or just some people who are in a shop, the first one pays with the two notes and the other gets it back?

Apparently somebody (TierrayLibertad) cleared debts due to a friend (nicolaric). That's what the comment tells us.
Depending on the definition this does not necessarily qualify for a real hit (because they knew each other) but it is "natural and geographic circulation of currency" as defined by WheresGeorge.com, and as we all know, the whole idea of currency tracking comes originally from there.

Let's leave the final decision to the moderators. But as we know from bhoeyb, moderation should be exercised carefully.
