Well, since you asked - and this is just my opinion: I'm such an on/off person that I (probably) wouldn't mind if my "close" hit was moderated due to the too little time/distance rule. If I can't have an interesting hit, I'd rather have nothing at all. I'd guess you'd be pretty mad at the moderators for doing that decision. You'd probably complain to the forum about the moderation. But you can't expect everyone to try to change the decision, most of them will probably just say "screw this, I have better things to do" and never enter any notes again.
.) I just wonder what the other half of an eventual hit would say if I asked the moderators to delete the hit since the other user seemed suspicious to me. But this is pure speculation, let's see when the time comes. I might be here begging Plleeeeaaaase don't moderate this hit! I've been tracking for 10 years and this is my first one.
