Yes,dear nodisch18, I still wrote about this very suspicious user on Thu oct 09, but nothing happens. I also have send a message to the portugese forum but didn't receive any reaction.

write to the user directly. May be he answers and explains.

Portuguese Banks are overstaffed. Maybe it is a Euro-freak, just starting his Banker job, but as beginner, has nothing else to do.

The webmaster (and avij) send an e-mail to many 'fake' users, are they sure people can make replys on that address?

It looks like a lot if not most of these false hits are made by new users. Maybe there should be a clear warning before they register.

If there already is one, it isn't clear enough, or I would have remembered it and I wouldn't be writing this now...

This hit (http://www.eurobilltracker.eu/index.php ... id=1264607) from ZEUS and Hera is explained in the German part of the forum.

For those who don't understand it...

Hera is the wife from ZEUS

... And he brougth the note back to belgium from a business-trip to Germany. So the "rule" that at least one person must be between the two persons who enter a note in the database is "violated" here. So i think this hit can be moderated...

And what happens, if I pay the grocer, he puts the notes to the bank, I take money from the bank and have it back the same day?
The system refuses the input!

next case: If I put a third person, say my secretary, between, and she enters the note, gives it back to me and I to my wife to fetch cigars for me .... what then ?

Yeah, that is the problem! This problem is there, because some people are frauds!

I think it is a good thing that you can't hit your own banknotes...

The other case is more difficult... i think that because of the fact that you know that your wife is also entering notes you should make sure that your notes don't reach your wife. (if you ever quit EBT, don't forget this rule!

).

But your right, the system isn't perfect... But everybody is doing there best! And i think that you can agree with it when your hit should be moderated. Or am I wrong...?

Of course there are too many fake hits etc. but I think we don't have to forget that there are a lot of thousands users here! And with that much users it's just normal that there are a few idiots who want to climb up on the list by entering fake notes/hits. You may even wonder that there are not more of these users...

I think that the main problem is that it's still to easy to enter false entry's on EBT. Maybe the team which delete false entery's can be enlarged, so that false hits and notes can be deleted more quickly...

That is not normal.

I went to the Pub. Paid with 10 Euro (by the way, why the €uro sign does not display?).
Two days later, I paid with 20 Euro and got back the note.

It has travelled, over the bar, twice! And in different directions!

Another case

I pay the Greengrocer with a 50 E-note. He brings the daily receipts to the bank. Two days later, I need fresh money anf get back the same note with others.

I cannot enter it. Why?

The note has legally passed 3 exchanges, be possessed by 3 persons.

A case like this is an exeption from the rule. If you feel like having ran into an exception, then contact the staff by email and they'll figure out what to do. If they consider that this really is a hit, they can force the note into the database. Understandably these occassions are always special and have to be considered by staff instead of letting an automated mechanism of the bill entering form do the things.
