Suspicious notes and users

Please before you post in this thread wait at least 24 hours. Most fake hits, certainly serial hits will be moderated within 24 hours. Use this thread only if you think an user or a hit is suspicious. Not when it's obvious

Hi everybody,

I saw some hits in the spanish list that I always wondered about.
But the last one, almost for sure has to be a fake one.
I'm talking about this hit:

2004-06-06 11:14:37 Xxxxx6309xxx Patxolinho - Rogelio

Rogelio just entered as new user on 2004-06-06, and entered ONE note, and has a hit the same day. No one can believe this.
Patxolinho also entered a small amount so far (32 bills), and claims to be from netherland. But spanish friends of mine, confirm that his name sounds to be galician, from the north of spain.
Maybe someone can have a deeper look on this hit 'cause I can't believe it is a real one.

I already mentioned on the spanish forum, wouldn't it be possible to automatically purge hits from users that haven't introduced at least X bills in the database?.
A kind of limit (f.ex. 50, 100, 200), so these users that just want to stay so cool and enter few bills, and fake hits between them, wouldn't ever show up.
And the rest of us, that are taking this a bit more serious and have introduced almost 1000 and more bills, don't get angry about these stupid fakers.

What do you think, should I mention this limit idea somewhere else, on another thread on these forums?

we need to know if the bill was marked with EBT.com, it's a possibility, maybe rogelio came to EBT.com viewing the url in the bill

Well.. Those hits are definitely not interesting, but they are anyway probably real.

Pehu2 joined EBT when there was the article in the Finnish net magazine Sektori.com . I guess he's the same Pehu as the one who writes all useful comments in the discussions there. That pehu is also one of the main organizators of Assembly, the world's biggest demoscene party held in Helsinki each August. (Last year they played Olen Omena there ;))
So, if that pehu is the same person as the other pehu (how many pehus in the euroland, BTW?), I really wouldn't think he's a faker or anything like that. Just managed to do a little mistake or something like that :)

Annie, don't be so selective concerning your hits.

I have several of that kind of hits. I agree, they are not interesting but the EBT policy at the moment is that any real hit has the status of being interesting. The only exception seems to be if there are plenty of sequental hits between same users.

I cant go every day to eurobilltracker.
So I wrote all things on a paper and put that each days later in!

If you enter your notes a few days after spending it, then you should better the day when you got the note in the comment field
like: from the bank, 10-06-2004
If you still have the note you can leave it away.
This way it won't become suspicious.
