Post here your hit locations map

Post by BaliBennie »

Since today we have a new feature in our account details :!:

Showing the path that a hitbill travels.

I think it is a very cool addition! Thanks a zillion Avij!!!

Does anyone know what the different coloured lines mean?
I see red, green and black lines.
My guess: notes found by you, notes found by other user, moderated hit.

Well to start with here is my map.
All within The Netherlands so it is a bit hard to see.

I believe the Statistics forum would be more appropriate for these.

The colours are actually quite random, they're different colours just so that it'd be easier to see the difference between similar arrows. I experimented encoding some of the hit data to the colours, but it didn't quite work well so I ended up with a simple hash function of the serial number.

Anyway, here's my map:

Thanks Avij for moving the topic from the English forum to the Statistics forum.

Another question:
Are moderated hits also on the map or only the interesting hits?
