The :note-20: changes have now been implemented.

Please keep these in mind:
  • You may need to clear your browser's cache or hit Shift/Ctrl/Alt/Apple + F5 to force a page reload to get the new serial number validating JavaScript
  • The serial number field will be green even for some invalid combinations, such as 20e P/P. This is an old bug -- 5e E/E serial numbers were also green, even though E Europa notes are only available as 10e. This will be fixed at some point, but probably not this year, unless someone steps in and fixes it.
  • Note that when you submit your notes to EBT, there is a stricter check and 20e P/P notes (and other invalid codes) will be disqualified at that time.
  • If the serial number field is red even if the serial number is correct, try submitting the note anyway. The colour is just a warning. If this continues to be a problem, try clearing your browser's cache.
  • The codes that are accepted for 20e notes are M, N, R, S, U, V, W and X (edit: E is now also accepted).
  • EBT only supports Europa notes which have the serial number pattern x[A-F]..., so if those NZ or SZ notes really show up, I'll have to make further changes.
  • There may be some places where an incorrect flag is displayed, just like with E notes (Slovakia / France). There isn't a quick fix for this, but this too will be fixed at some point. It's all just a matter of time..
  • If you want to see who has entered the first 20e notes from each country, see this list.
Please let me know if you run into issues. I'll be watching this topic closely on Wednesday.

Ensamvarg disagrees.

So I guess I'll need to add support for E notes as well.. OK, added, and the note in question has now been changed to a 20e.

E/E :note-20: :flag-eu: may be part of the second batch printed (for 2015 that is, the first one being for 2014) but already out since we're in November and mixed with all other notes. That would explain why there are more printer codes than expected.

That, or my source made fun of me. :(

Anyway, thanks for already adding that letter to the authorized ones. There may be more.

I was a little bit surprised that Banco de Portugal (national bank) has U/U notes instead of M/M. I wonder which letters will be circulating regularly. Last year I picked V/V tenners at Banco de Portugal but those Spanish ones were hard to find for the next months (the most common ones being U/U and a little later E/E).

EDIT: later on today I'll be adding 239 more notes U003** / UC**369.

The Europa 150 20€ that I received from BNB here in Brussels were also U/U notes.

U008C3 and U008D3, both U**167

Montgomery Burns wrote:Speaking of the new :note-50: , I was wondering the other day if it will come out in 2016, or if it will spill over to 2017. So far, we've had introduction dates in May, September, and November. Next year, November again? December? Or sometime before that (less than a year from now)?
Bank of Slovenia Cash Department director was just on the radio: new :note-50: is planned for release in the first half of 2017 :/

First group of 20 twentiers logged. Unluckily not all belonging to one batch, with only pairs, trios or one set of four sequential. All of them from printing plate V001 and serial numbers VA00* or VA000*.

Serial number writing box in red, but logged correctly.

EDIT:

I cleared Historial and Caché, tried again,
and serial number writing box went green.

ALL CORRECT.

No new 20e notes yet in any of the ATMs or banks in central Helsinki :(

Edit: I got my first Europa 20e note from the nearest ATM to my home, after spending all the day in central Helsinki hunting for these notes. U006/UE.
