Since the 1st, January of 2016, mainland France is divided into 13 "régions" (it was 22 before) due to some administrative changes. A "région" is still made of many "départements", another smaller division. For instance the new "région" temporarily called "Alsace-Champagne-Ardenne-Lorraine" is a merge between three old "régions", namely "Alsace", "Champagne-Ardenne" and "Lorraine". We'd like to reflect the new "régions" to match reality.
As a city manager I have moved some "départements" from one "région" to another: everything's fine at this point, the new "région" is displaying its subsumed "départements". But cities attached to a "département" are still in the old "région", they don't seem to follow automatically.
Ceric, another city manager, tried to display a city then click on the edit button. It seems to be enough to update it. However we have 17655 cities at the moment so that's a lot of clicks! Are there indexes to update or to refresh that would avoid us that task?
Thanks
