EuroBillTracker at the EURid web awards

Hi all!

I've come across a contest by EURid, the firm that runs .eu addresses on the web.
They're gathering nominations for the best .eu websites. The most nominated will enter a shortlist to be evaluated by a jury, and the winners in each category will receive a prize.
I guess it would be great if EuroBillTracker made it to the shortlist the most suitable category is "The Laurels", which welcomes "institutions such as a school, a training program, a charitable organisations, etc., that promotes ongoing education/pan European projects."

This is a good idea to promote the website, even if one believes the chances of actually winning are not high.

Here's a short version of the awards rules as they matter to EBT:

• Anyone who likes EuroBillTracker can nominate www.eurobilltracker.eu (not eurobilltracker.com) to enter the contest (here)
  ("Any individual aged eighteen (18) years and over, who is a resident in a Member State of the European Union or Liechtenstein, Iceland or Norway")
• The website (www.eurobilltracker.eu) can be nominated multiple times (but only once per person).
• The category where eurobilltracker.eu can be nominated is "The LAURELS".
  ("an institution such as a school, a training program, a charitable organisations, etc., that promotes ongoing education/pan European projects.")
• In order to make a nomination, one needs to provide his or her name, country and email address.
• You have only up to 2 September 2016 (11:59:59 PM CEST) to nominate.

I have already casted my vote (nominated eurobilltracker.eu). It took me about 10 seconds.

Maybe it's time to send a new newsletter only for this purpose.
