Somehow the new Belgian coins are even harder to find than the Dutch ones. Since 2014 I only had about twenty of them, about half of them 50 Cent coins. The rest were 5 Cent coins plus two times 10 Cent.
So the 1, 2, 20 Cent, 1 and 2 Euro are still missing. While I can totally understand why I haven't received the 1 Euro yet, the rest of the coins should not be too hard to find (I also have been in Brussels twice since 2014 but wasn't abled to find any other coins except 5 and 50 Cent).
So I'm looking forward to travel around in Europe a little bit more in the next years. Not only for the numismatic experiences but for the nice people I'm going to meet and the exciting marks of history, culture and nature to explore.

That's simply because Belgium hasn't issued as many coins with the new king as the Netherlands have done for theirs. This has to do with the amount of coins already in circulation per value and the derived need for new ones. For instance, in 2014 the Netherlands straightaway issued all but the 1 and 2 cent coins with the new king for circulation while Belgium only did likewise for the 2, 5 and 50 cent coins. The other values followed in subsequent years. The 20 cent and 2 euro coins from Belgium with the new king have only been issued for circulation in 2019. I am Belgian and I only found my first 2 euro coin of King Philippe in early 2020. You won't find the 1 and 2 cent coins In Belgium at all anymore because we simply stopped using those alltogether last year. Considerable amounts of these coins have been issued into circulation in preceding years so you should still be able to find them in countries that still use these values (e.g. Germany).
