My first hit!!!!

Post by BossaNova »

:P :P :P :P :P :P :P FINALLY MY FIRST HIT, AFTER 852 NOTES!!!

YUPI!!!!!!!!!

well this is a relatively odd hit, but it's genuine, I am at my aunt's house in a city (Póvoa de Varzim) about 30km from my own, and I asked her to enter some notes of her, and when I entered them (in my name) I saw that one of them was already been entered by me in 29 May, in Santo Tirso! but as she told me she got this note in Póvoa, I decided to creat an acount for her, and entered this note in her name!

So this is really a genuine hit! hurray! :P I guess I should creat acounts for each member of my family, because at least 90% of my notes aren't really mine

Perhaps we should create a new forum or a sticky thread where people could announce that they have a hit

Anyway, congratulations for your first hit, it sure was an interesting way to get a hit.

avij, one hit after 2274 notes, currently at 2299.

The article in "Stern" is the biggest thing since the Portuguese came rolling in... The coming weeks everyone will write about the past year, and the Euro was a milestone... so it would be interesting to get a Stern-like article in France (and Spain, Italy and Greece)

Mmmm, you can send me some note's (I prefer those 500 or 200, but anything lower than that could also work), and I'll enter them for you ;)

Just a joke...

That's a COOL way to show your hits.

I'll search the web to visualize my 2 hits (964 notes)

1st hit: Oegstgeest - Bleiswijk (19 km)

Image

Oegstgeest, Castle Endegeest (nowadays a psychiatric hospital. A fine place for the local EBTers)

Image

Bleiswijk, Tour of South Holland

2nd hit: Oegstgeest - Bedum (189 km)

Image

Image

Bedum, a small village in the north of the NL

Those old buildings are beautiful. :)
Sorry I have no hits yeat. Maybe I show some pictures near my childhood home from Riisitunturi National Park.
I can´t get the first summer picture here so to see the picture push this link.: http://www.pbase.com/klahti/riisitunturi
Then select this picture: "RT_Noukajärvimaisema.jpg" Push it and you get a the picture with lakes, forest and hills.

Actually my parents still live in our farm behind that lake and nearby hill about 15 km away.
In summer these forests are full of birds :) and mosquitos :? .
Image
In Winter it´s very cold - 15 to -40 °C, but many birds and mammals survive the winter.
A lot of trees,
Sorry about the off-topic.

Gosh, how hard it was to find a proper picture from Nurmijärvi. And also to make the picture of Turku work

And here's the map Thanks to Philippe for adding that[/img]

It has been a few weeks now since I scored my first hit ...

It all started here, in the small community of Buggenhout
Image
Image

In the proximity of Dendermonde
Image

And it went all the way to Ekeren (only 32km further)

Image

Which from above pretty much looks like close to Antwerp

What I do: I type the city name in google and than I click the tab Images/pictures top left.

When I type "Nurmijärvi" google comes up with 255 pictures :-)
Most of them are junk though

Yes, I did that too. But as you said most of the pictures were junk and that's what I meant.
