OK. It may be related to HTTP/2 support. I've disabled HTTP/2 for now. Please let me know if this helped.

There's a patch which may fix this HTTP/2 bug. I'll apply this patch this evening and post an update when the new version is in use.

Edit: The patched version is now in use.

The patched version of lighttpd has been in use for 2,5 5 hours now and at least there are no longer errors in the server's log. Hopefully the images show up and pages load properly now. Please let me know if there are still issues.

In the past months, I couldn't see some images unless I was using Firefox.

Now, it seems I can't see some more images, actually. Like all not smile-coded flags, for example.

Some images on the picture number game topic are not loaded either:

These don't work on Edge, Chrome, or Opera.

I can open all of these images on a new tab though. It's just that they don't show up within the forum.

All the images you listed use plain http as the transport protocol. Accessing http resources from a https page (like the forum) will most probably be blocked by your browser for security reasons. This isn't really a forum limitation, it's how web pages work nowadays. Opening the image in a new tab convinces the browser that the image is not a security threat, because in that case it isn't loaded from a https page.

For our own images, try an https web address, like:  Image

Also note that we don't have https enabled on the old eurobilltracker.eu hostname. You'll need to use eurobilltracker.com.

For the other images, replacing http with https may or may not work, depending on how the server hosting the image has been configured. Beyond our control, really.

Thank you for the thorough explanation!

I usually replace every http with https, unless it doesn't work. Now that you enlightened me, I will stop using images that only work with http.

I also didn't know about eurobilltracker.eu not having https. I have been using .eu because it takes one less character, but I will use .com instead from now on.

I want to report a problem when a city's-profile is displayed :
on the webpage appears a map showing the location of all hits. And a message appears : "This map is currently being generated", but the map is actually never been generated at all.
This problem is not recent.
I don't know the resaon why no map is displayed.
Here is a screenshot ( it's a random city's-profile, it seems to work for some cities, but not for other cities ).
Please can you solve the problem ?

I just got my first :note-20: S022/ST but it's impossible for me to track it because the serial number is not recognized as correct.
Would it be possible to update the acceptance rules?

Support has closed your support request with the following answer, perhaps you did not read it:
Please send a picture of the bill with complete serial number and printer code visible to contact@eurobilltracker.com, then the development team can include this new combination; it may take a few days however.

You can use eurobt.eu, which is even less characters, and redirects to https://eurobilltracker.com.

This problem has been reported to the technical working group, since it looks likely to be a cache problem; whenever avij gets around to looking at it, he can say more (or hopefully resolve it).

:note-20: S022/S CL is already official, with photo proof. See for example viewtopic.php?p=1253422#p1253422. It's already on Guy Sohier's catalogue, too.

Examples show the second numbering scheme already found with U/U notes: second letters should be SM, SN, SP, SR, SS and ST.

I already coded up SP and ST (and the others aren't much work, but only after there is some proof), but avij needs to put the changes live. He's probably still on vacation, so it will definitely take a few days.
