Layout of "Choose your language" -box

Post by Poutsi »

Could it be possible to arrange the "Choose your language" -box again at the EBT site? There used to be a straight line before the flags were added. I mean something like this:

And where's the sense in the order of the flags? ( I know, it doesn't matter. Just wanted to ask)

I suppose the languages are ordered chronologically, based on the date they were added to the site. Am I right, Phil?

Yes, the order looks like that. Now I don't need to wonder that anymore

Philippe,
I see you have arranged the language box as Poutsi proposed. However, it does not work in all languages. This is because the language box has the same width as the MENU box and the MENU box has a variable width. In English, the MENU box is smaller than in French - in French, the flags appear neatly arranged, but in English it's a mess.

My Window is 1280x1024, letter size in IE is "medium". The problem does not occur if I choose for a smaller letter size.

1) If you have a wheel mouse, you press the CRTL key and spin the wheel.

2) The other way is in the "View" menu, there should be an option like "font size". Sorry, I only have the German version of IE.

3) I also use the toolbar, it has a symbol with two letters "A", a smaller one and a bigger one.

Ah :)

Ok, I see the problem, I suppose I could try to not force the size of the menu box... I'll do that tomorrow !
