At www.eurobilltracker.com or just click at the header "Eurobilltracker" in the middle of this forum

but it turns out that because a person registers for the forum
they dont automatically register for the eurobilltracker welcome page also?

Correct. It's slightly inconvenient and confusing that the accounts for EBT and this forum are separate, but that's what we have at the moment.

I'm having some problems attaching pictures :( I see that many people attach great pictures, which I assume has been shot with a smartphone. I'm trying the same, but the picture sizes exceed the limits are all the time.. Do you make the pictures somehow smaller or am I using a wrong format?

I don't know either if this is the right chat, but I couldn't find a dedicated "questions and answers"-thread. If it exists, please attach it below! :D Or then I'll probably make one, would be very convenient.

My way (in computer, running on Windows):
Upload your photo to computer (You need to see it on the screen).
Push combination Win+Shift+S. In appr. 1 s. screen turns more grey, and You have a possibility to mark the desired field (with coins or nice number), and it copies automatically.
Start the Paint program. Paste the copied shot on the paperfield. NOW – You can change the picture size (Ctrl+W, there will be separate window, 70x70 percent gives 2x less pixels, 50x50 percent – 4x less pixels). You need to save the diminished picture as file somewhere ( Desktop is best for me) and use THIS diminished file / picture.

I often upload my images to imgur, then link to them in posts. After uploading the picture, you’ll need to get its URL. In Chrome this is done by right-clicking and choosing "Copy Image Link". Then you paste the URL to your post, between [img][/img] tags. Using this method means you won’t have the "Viewed x times" message under the image, but it lets you post larger images : the maximum file size on imgur is 20 Mb versus 5 Mb for attachments to forum posts.

You can also change the settings on your phone to take the photos in lower resolution (= smaller filesize).

Hi again!

I've run into a new problem I haven't really experienced before. I'm currently on a holiday in Crete, close to Chania. Yesterday I bought some things in local supermarkets to get some notes to track. I put in the name of the place with Greek letters (I'm really interested in that alphabet), the corresponding postal code and of course Greece as the country. But when looking at my new entries, the dot on Crete is missing totally.. that's pretty irritating, as I'm not increasing my dot map at all.

Here's an example of the place I reported notes from and the note report:

place (LIDL): https://maps.app.goo.gl/gixyxRsqctFZLE419

and note report: https://en.eurobilltracker.com/notes/?id=246735648

If anyone has seen something similar or know's what to do, please let me know :D Thank you very much in advance!

Probably you are the first user to enter a note from this location (or writing the location in the way you are written it).

If so, in the next hours a city manager will assign the correct data at "your" city and dot will appear.

I assigned your new :flag-gr: location to the profile of :flag-gr: Daratsos / Δαράτσος.

The tread Incorrect dots and inaccuracies among city profiles (EN) is the right place for such problems.

Okay! Thank you so much tigerpranke and giulcenc :D

But that's great: I'll assign the problems of future problems to that thread cuz I'm pretty sure that new unassigned cities and villages will pop up here on Crete..
