My 2 biggest hobbies are dancing (I'm in the advanced bellydance classes) and volunteering for the Red Cross Flanders - I'm one of those RC people you see at concerts, sporting events, ... But I also help to put together the first aid courses.
And I also LOVE traveling!

It's a very simplified strategy game, which reminds me a bit of RISK, although it's more about creating alliances than RISK is.
It works so that there are three things you can do with a unit: move, hold and support.
Moving means moving to another country in the map, thus conquering it. Holding means keeping the unit in the country where the unit already is, thus defending it.
Support means doubling the force of another unit in a nearby country.
Fighting is very simplistic: one army against one army means the defending side will win and nothing happens.
Two against one means the one with two wins. Naturally it's the same with three against one and three against two and so on.

The main point is communicating with other players using the interface. People build alliances and try to stab each others' backs whenever possible.

I find the game quite great. You can see a game my friend's are playing in http://www.floc.net/dpjudge/gamemaps/perus1900.pdf .

If you feel like playing the game, but your friends are too lazy to give their armies one command per week, then go on and ask me :)
I might wanna play another game.
Hey people, we need two more players to get the game going. Then I only need to find a game leader, but I suppose some of my friends will do it.

I like sports quite a lot, mainly I enjoy playing hockey (that´s ice-hockey), but I also do biking, soccer, basketball, bowling etc. Besides sports I go to movies often, travel when I have the money, hang out with friends, take care of my pet, surf in the internet, write letters. Oh, and I definitely follow sports from TV, newspapers, internet and attend hockey games as much as I can.

I collect euro coins, US state quarters, mint US stamps (1990+) and some months ago I started to collect US licence plates with my husband. Besides of collecting things I don't have much time for doing anything else except nursing our 1-year old son. He is my hobby number 1 at the moment.

My hobbies are:

* Languages: I have studied English, Swedish, German, French, Italian and Russian. Now I'm working on Spanish.

* Music: I don't play any instrument but I listen to music a lot. I love all kinds of music: rock, r'n'b, dance, disco, metal, classical. My all time favourite band is U2. Other favourites are Moby, DJ Tiesto, Peter Gabriel, REM, Maroon 5, Muse, Linkin Park, Rammstein, New Order, Air, Prince, Eros Ramzzotti, BonJovi, Massive Attack, Rainbow, Simply Red etc. etc. I could make an endless list.

Of course I listen to Finnish bands, too. All those good bands from the golden 80's: Pelle Miljoona, Sielun Veljet, Hassisen Kone, Yö, Eput... and new bands like Kwan, The Rasmus, HIM, Redrama, Suburban Tribe, Pepe Deluxe..... :D

* Gardening: I have a small garden and I just can't wait for the snow to melt away! I love flowers and lily is my favourite.

* Knitting: When I was younger I didn't actually like to knit. But when my children were small I started to knit them tiny little sweaters. Now I make several sweaters during the winter.

* Stamps: I have over 5000 stamps from all over the world. At this moment I don't collect them very actively, except the Finnish stamps.

* Reading: I used to read lots of books when I was younger. I still would like to read, only if I had enough time for it. Anyway, I read the daily newspapers and Donald Duck.

* Genealogy: This is a new hobby. I have just started to search for my ancestors.

* Bailatino: This is another new hobby of mine. I just love dancing! Baila! Baila! :D

1996 France (with my father and brother)
1998 Belgium (with friends)
1999 Belgium (with friends)
2000 Belgium (with friends)
2002 Belgium (with friends)
2004 Malaysia!  (Me and my girlfriend are planning a trip to Malaysia next year so i hope i can make her mad enough to go at least one day to the circuit!)

Apart from the Formula 1 I recently started to make pictures from things i like. But i'm not that good so I'm planning to put some extra time in it and practise a lot.
For the people who care i have a Nikon F55 with a 28-80mm and a 70-300mm Nikkor lens.

Other things i like to do in my spare time are:
- Hanging out with friends
- watching National Geographic Channel, Discovery Channel
- Going to the movies

-THE ThREAD DIGGER-
Passi per quello sfigato di Marin, passi per quella zoccola della Bruni, passi per una fabbrica di debito come Alitalia ma EBT NO!(Manadou sta gran zoccola)
