Top user maps

Here are some maps showing users with more than 10000, 5000 and 2000 notes on 23-04-2005.

Notes
The data is plotted with MS Autoroute from the location not the postcode. Where a unique location was not determined automatically I googled the postcode to correctly place the dot. However some errors might have slipped through.
Also I have had the locations of each user in an excel sheet for some while and I only update them if I stumble upon a change so they might not be up to date.
A couple of users with no default location do not appear.
Let me know if there are any mistakes - if a dot is missing, in the wrong place, doesn't appear on any detail map etc and I will be happy to correct them in any future update.
For locations with many users the dots are placed in a vertical line for readability. Also some dots have been moved slightly for the same reason. Do not complain if your dot has been moved 20 kilometers.

"Spangle2K" is on the Card with a RED-Point and "only" 2000 Notes.

I don't have Mappoint, but I have the full coordinates of 83 Portuguese ebtists (most down to a section of a street). coastal, would you be able to make a map on these data?

Something always goes wrong every time
The colours are correct because the labels are to the top right of the dot, i.e. Spangle2K is blue. The problem is that Simplyxred's label seems to be hiding under rachel7000's. Oh well, I will correct it soon.

I don't have Mappoint either. I tried to "acquire" it on-line but it took too long, so I gave up. I just used Autoroute importing the data from an excel. I don't know what kind of data you have, if you want to send it to me I can take a look...

This is something I have been meaning to do since before Christmas, just never got around to it. I love maps (as I'm sure many others do here).

Note there is also a more detailed Spanish users version in the Spanish forum.

BTW, if anyone else has Autoroute and is interested I would be quite happy to mail you the .axe file (500kB) and/or the excel data I used to generate it. Just let me know
