Keep gettin loged out

Post by Edwin »

I believe it's been reported her before, but couldn't find the message :(

But since a few days I'm not logged in when I come here. I do check the box during log-in but it doesn't work.

I first noticed it after visiting this site http://users.pandora.be/l.coppens/eurob ... .eu/forum/

Yes
I have the very same problem.
Before, when I came to EBTForum, I was always logged in automatically.
Now everytime I have to login manually. :(
It's since a few days, maybe it has indeed something to do with that URL. ?
I don't know...
But it's very frustrating... :(

On EVERY other forum (some of wich also phpBB2-based) I don't have this malfunction...

I don't have problems with the log-in, I don't even have to login, it goes atomaticly when I go to the eurobilltrackerforum.

Until a few days ago that was also the case for me!
But now not anymore.
I'll try to find the EBTForum-cookie in my Temporary Internet Files, and delete it.
Maybe it got corrupt in some way....
So maybe deleteing it, and logging back in could solve the problem...

Had it worked, is it going the right way now? (with no log-in problems)
I hope so, being a guest isn't fun!

Cool !!
I just solved my own problem !!

I searched on 'eurobilltracker' on my Hard Disk, and deleted every cookie that has anything to do with EBT.
Then I just logged in, and now I stay logged in ! :)
So from now on it is automatically again.
/me is happy :D

I tried several things out, and it is possible indeed that using a link on that page can cause problems with the auto login. But I'm really not sure about it. :(

If it's the case, it could be related to the fact that http://www.eurobilltracker.eu/forum/ cookies get mixed up somehow with http://forum.eurobilltracker.eu cookies.

The page I made uses http://forum.eurobilltracker.eu as a base, so when it gets copies to it's destination, no internal links have to be changed (due to laziness I didn't copy all the images to my site).

If you have problems with the auto login just log in. Then log out again. Restart your browser and login again using the 'log me on automatically each visit'

I hope it will solve the problem. :?

I removed the code that may have caused the problem.

I hope it works fine now and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. :?
