Diffusion-statistics

Post by nodisch18 »

Hi Webmaster,

Since the beginning of this year it is not possible anymore to see the changes in the diffusion of the different countries anymore. Still we can see it from this year but the statistics of last year are gone!! Is it possible to get those back?

Being mathematician, I need to suggest another improvement for the diffusion pie graphs. I feel they would tell a lot more if the underlying number of bills was shown.

So - if time permits - is it possible to display the number of bills entered in the respective countries?

I think it is beginning to get more difficult to tell what notes have entered one's country by visitors and those which enter circulation purely from ATMs. For example, in one suburb of Dublin, the ATMs were giving out crisp Italian €20s and it's common to get Spanish €50s from ATMs. Only the €5 and €10s with a non T-prefix (ie. Ireland) can really be considered to have arrived via visitors at this stage...

I guess the Irish Central Bank didn't get quite the right mix of banknotes printed, then! ;)
